Your Turn!

I've noticed there are a few more people in the Lurkdom as of late. *waves to all new faces*

Because of this - and my lack of attention span - I want you guys to talk. Introduce yourself and tell me what brought you here. Tell me about your hobbies and if you blog, what you blog about. With 50 plus of you in the Lurkdom, there's no reason for not talking. Even if I know you, tell me something below. You could win some music, after all.

I write YA and am seeking representation on my contemporary novel, FALLING TO NORMAL. I blog about writing, cats, my imaginary child, and anything else that amuses me. I have a co-host, Miranda, who runs the show on Thursdays where it's all things zombie.

Now it's your turn. Tell me about yourself.

____ hit of the day: ACT I: King of the Franks by Christopher Lee

  1. Hi. I'm Bethany.
    "Hi, Bethany."
I blog about everything but zombies. I found you... where? Twitter, right?
I like you. That is all.

  2. I'm D. I've known you for, like, 20 years or so (scary thought). Right now I only blog for work, which isn't all that exciting. Unless you're looking for free online educational software - then it's pretty exciting.

My hobbies include reading, writing, irritating Alicia, collecting stuffed mammoths wearing hockey jerseys (of the plush variety, not the taxidermy stuff), and procrastinating.

And now a question for you - how come Chey never tells Luckster not to shed on me when I come over? Just once I'd like to be able to come over your house wearing black and not go home wearing a white fur coat.

  3. Hi :D I'm Lauren.

I like cats and anime and repo and drawing and writing and karaoke and forums and um.. Lots of other stuff! :3 I'm typing on my ipod right now since I'm in English class.

I'm in my first semester of College right now going for a degree in Elementary Education and I'm taking really boring classes.

I was introduced to this blog by Miranda from her awesome zombie thursdays. Now I occasionally read the blog sometimes and have you on twitter and yeah!

    The End <3

  4. Hi, I'm Adaraschia Wingit. :) I found your blog via the amazing powers of the comment section in an RTW post on YA Highway. Since then I've been enjoying the blog immensely, especially Zombie Thursdays because they make me think about possible stories with zombies. I do have a blog which I've been using for answering RTW posts and doing reviews and such, but it was a collab blog with a couple friends and has been becoming more like a collab diary than I would like, so I'm setting up a new blog at the moment for (mainly) writing related purposes. So far, I've only managed to set up widgets and the About page, though I do have an idea for a post involving writing as a form of procrastination.
The old blog was for anything and everything that I thought was blog-worthy, including posts about how wound up I'd get when I had a carton of peppermint-chocolate milk all to myself.

  5. *waves to Alicia*

Hi, I'm Holly. I write YA novels, chase my pre-schooler, and am officially about to start querying agents.

I blog about writing, my kiddo, and whatever else pops into my mind.

I'm also part of the sarcasm patrol. Just sayin'.

  6. Hi Alicia!

I'm Perri. We met at an awesome Grub Street event. I write adult fiction, and have two blogs-- a farm blog (We have Icelandic sheep!) and a writing blog that's a bit of a catch-all, that often strays into the subject of bad 70's music and one-hit-wonderdom

  7. I'm Elana. I write books and blogs, read too much, watch too much reality TV, and people say I have more hours in the day than everyone else. I can neither confirm nor deny that.

    Glad to be here!

  8. Hi, I'm Miranda, or Mir, as Alicia knows me.

I like zombies, Cenobites, Halloween, horror films, reading, dogs, all animals, and CHUDs.

I'm here because I met Alicia when I was 13-14 years old on the big and scary internet! The first time we met "IRL" (that's "in real life"), her dad cautioned that I may be a serial killer.

Since then, we have joined forces just like the Planeteers to bring you 'Zombie Thursdays!'. I do have my own personal blog, but I admit I am not very good about updating it. However, this is mainly due to the fact that I don't have internet and steal it from others. At this very moment, an AT&T technician is in my apartment, so hopefully I will have my own DSL soon.

    See you on Thursdays!!

  9. I'm so glad you all commented - especially you new people.

@ Bethany - Yes, Twitter. I'm not sure how that happened though. It's a Twystery.

@ d - The cats shed on you because they feel they earned the right.

@ Lauren - I know all about boring education classes. I totally feel your pain.

@ Adaraschia - Welcome! And please send peppermint chocolate to me. Thanks.

@ Holly - I'm so glad you're part of the sarcasm patrol. Do you head it or is it someone else?

@ Perri - I lurk at BOTH your blogs. I've never learned so much about farming.

@ Elana - Welcome aboard. Please send extra hours to me along with the Peppermint chocolate milk Adaraschia is sending.

@ Miranda - I hope you have internet now and we should also point out that despite I have a decade on you, my father was still concerned you were a serial killer. So there.

I hope you all come by and comment some more!
